Connection is the central theme of my show You & I. My work is fuelled by nature and the coming-of-age experience.

The Crux – Art Exhibition
Mittagong Mushroom Tunnel – 123 Old Bowral Rd, Mittagong
4pm – 7pm, Saturday 28 June 2025
This was my first exhibition held literally in a mushroom tunnel between Mittagong and Bowral. My subconscious birthed what The Crux was. In painting, each work I meditated frequently. In each moment, my focus to allow my “subconscious” to paint through me, to express those feelings felt at my core and beyond. The result, a dreamlike collage from somewhere far yet familiar, at least to me. An apparition reflecting the pivotal point where adolescence borders adulthood. The crux of this point in life, the point in life I lived through and saw before me in myself and my friends. I found, throughout this month in which I dove into my subconscious and art, that the “Crux” extended beyond this moment in time… My intention, to inspire, to share from some strange cold cavern in the world and in my mind that the crux, that moment of decision, is now. The choice is yours.
22 works were exhibited. People of all ages and backgrounds attended. it was such a special moment; it marked my first leap into a world beyond myself…
Bong Bong Races live painting

I painted the first race live on the day of the races. I was asked to paint under the Buying Highlands tent by real estate agent Jacob McKinnon. The painting was auctioned on the day, with half of the $3800 the work sold for going to the River Roads Arts Academy in Mossvale.
